Diana Sinclair

     Diana Mae Sinclair age 69 of Rock Rapids, IA passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, IA.

     A memorial mass will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Rock Rapids, IA with Ftr. Francis Makwinja, officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Name Catholic Cemetery at Rock Rapids.

     Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 23^rd at Holy Name Catholic Church.  A Rosary will take place at 10:00 AM.

     Diana Mae Sinclair was born in Rock Rapids on July 19,1950. She was the daughter of Marvin and Mary Ellen (Roach) Sinclair. Diana graduated from Central Lyon High School in 1968. She then attended Iowa Lakes Junior College for 2 years and after graduating attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from UNC in 1973 with a BA in Social Work.

     Diana was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America.  She enjoyed scrapbooking, traveling with her family, and helping others.

     Diana was known in her family as always sending cards to support family member’s birthday and anniversary celebrations.

     Diana is survived by one sister, Marlene (Steve) Bartlett of Marion, IA; two brothers, Dennis (Arlis) Sinclair of Cedar Falls, IA and Alex Sinclair of Houston, TX; and six nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Deborah Ann Sinclair.

     The family requests memorials be directed to the Oldorf House of Mercy Hospice Hiawatha, Iowa or The Central Lyon Foundation directed to the Mary Ellen Roach Sinclair 4-H scholarship fund.
