     Diane Davids age 76 of Sibley, IA passed peacefully, Sunday June 14, 2020 at her home surrounded by family.

     Private family memorial services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sibley, Iowa with Pastor Tim Nappe officiating.

     Diane F. Davids was born May 9, 1944 in Ocheyedan, Iowa, the daughter of Theodore and Elsie (Hesebeck) Glade. She was raised in Ocheyedan, Iowa. She graduated in 1962. On July 9, 1961 she was united in marriage to Dennis Davids at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sibley, Iowa. They lived their lives together in Sibley, Iowa, Windom, Minnesota, Fairmont, Minnesota, and moved back to Sibley in 1979. In the past, Diane worked as direct support at New Dawn in Worthington, Minnesota. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and Bible School and being part of Lutheran church ladies Bible Study. Some of her hobbies included playing piano and accordion, crosswords, crocheting, cross stitch, and when you walked into her home you knew she collected angels. She was a loving mom, grandma, and wife. Diane was the CEO of the family.

     Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Dennis; daughter, Lisa (Doug) Osborn of Winnebago, MN; son, Shawn (Angie) Davids of Long Island, NY; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Paul R. Glade of Tempe, AZ; her special nieces and nephews; and other many extended family and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Elsie Glade; son, Scott D. Davids; brother, Dick Glade; and two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Glade and Janet Glade.
