Donna Mae Tracy

     Donna Mae Tracy age, 98 formerly of Ocheyedan, Iowa died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the Country View Manor in Sibley.

    A Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022, at the Ocheyedan Township Cemetery in Ocheyedan, IA, with Reverend Steve Swenson officiating. Family and friends may gather at the Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. 

     Donna Mae (Robinson) Tracy was born on August 17, 1924, to Esley E Robinson and Anne (Schumacher) Robinson in Canby, MN.  Donna Mae enjoyed growing up with her parents on their family farm.  After graduating from high school, she attended the Worthington Community Jr College where she graduated with honors. She went on to work at the Fill Gas Company in Worthington, MN.  

     Donna Mae met and married Leonard M Tracy on September 11, 1954, in Worthington, MN.   They moved to Ocheyedan, Iowa where they made their life together and enjoyed their many friends and community.  They also enjoyed going to Arizona every winter for several years.  During the final years of their marriage, Donna Mae took loving care of her husband who had MS, until his death in 1993.

     Donna Mae was predeceased by husband, Leonard M Tracy; parents, Esley and Anna Robinson; brother, Earl (Gladys) Robinson; sisters, Vera (George) Walker, Margaret (Barron) Rye and Mildred Robinson.

     Donna Mae is survived by nephew, Richard (Corky) Robinson; niece, Donna Robinson, and several great nieces and nephews.
