Gladys Schneiderman was born June 3, 1924 southwest of George, Iowa, the daughter of Fred H. and Minnie (Konstant) Stubbe. She grew up on a farm southwest of George and lived there until after her mother’s passing, when her and her father moved into town. She was their only child.
On August 28, 1949 Gladys was united in marriage to John Schneiderman in Churdan, Iowa. They moved to a farm and together they farmed and raised their family. They were blessed with three children, Jeanette, Glennis and Eldon. John passed away in March of 2005.
Gladys was a homemaker her entire life. She loved the outdoors and planted lovely flower gardens and abundant vegetable gardens. She was an avid bird watcher and had bird feeders placed where she could watch from her windows. She enjoyed cross-stitch and crafted many items including beautiful quilts. Most of all Gladys loved her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeanette (Randy) Schubert of Shakopee, MN and Eldon Schneiderman of George, IA; grandchildren, Ryan (Jennifer) Schubert and Rachel (Justin) Valeri, four great grandchildren, Brody Schubert, Maddilyn Schubert, Leo Valeri and Sophia Valeri; along with many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Minnie; husband, John; and son, Glennis.
Blessed Be Her Memory.
