Gregory James Larson

Hills, MN

     Gregory J. Larson age 74 of Hills, MN died unexpectedly on Monday, June 20, 2022, at his residence in Hills. 

     The Larson family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, June 29^th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at Jurrens Funeral Home of Hill.

     Private family inurnment will be prior to the visitation at Flower Field Cemetery, rural Hills, MN, with Pastor Juanita Parker officiating.

     Jurrens Funeral Home is in charge of services.

     Gregory James Larson was born October 19, 1947, in Luverne, Minnesota, the son of Eilert “Ike” and Shirley (Rogers) Larson. He was raised in Hills, MN area and attended Hills High School, graduating in 1965. After high school Greg married and began working for Coca cola in Arkansas. He later returned he began working at Litton Microwave and Hutchinson Technology in Sioux Falls, and lastly at the Hills Tuff Memorial Home.

     He was united in marriage to Candy K. Else on March 17, 1989, in Valley Springs, SD. In his spare time, he taught AA. He loved the Minnesota Vikings and attending dirt track races as often as he could. 

     He is survived by his wife, Candy Larson of Luverne, MN; six children, Lisa Bridgers of Arkansas, Michelle Larson of Arkansas, Anthony DeSollar of Luverne MN, Seth DeSollar (wife Marla) of Garretson, SD, Brandy DeSollar of Luverne MN and Brooke Mendez of Jasper, MN; nine grandchildren, Marshall DeHaven, Reyna DeSollar, Olivia Reverts, Dalton DeSollar, Kaden DeSollar, Zachary Bradley, Zakada Bradley, Katileya Mendez and Melvin Mendez; along with many extended family; and his second family at Tuff Memorial Home.

     He was preceded in death by his parents Ike and Shirley Larson.
