     Henry Luis Torres Sr  age 85 of Sibley died Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Sibley Specialty Care in Sibley.

     Private services will take place Tuesday, May 31^st at Jurrens Funeral Home with burial to follow in Holman Township Cemetery.

     Henry Luis Torres was born November 8, 1936, in Manhattan, New York City, the son of Frank and Gloria (Ramos) Torres.  He was raised and attended high school in Manhattan, alongside his siblings Angelo, Frank, Salvatore and Gloria.  In 1960 Henry was united in marriage to Mary Arroyo in Manhattan.  Together they raised four children, Henry, Louis, Irene, and Lisa.  They moved to New Jersey in 1971.  Henry worked security for an office building in New York City.  On November 5, 2003, Mary passed away.  Henry retired in 2013 and made his home in Sibley.  He loved cowboy and classic movies, Yankees baseball, basketball, and bowling.

     Those left to cherish his memory are his children; four grandchildren; sister, Gloria Viguet of Florida; along with nephews, nieces, and extended family.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; siblings, Frank, Angelo, and Salvatore Torres.
