Sibley, IA Kathy Wills, age 63 of Sibley, IA died on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. A celebration of life for Kathy is planned for June 4, 2022 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Willow Creek Park on Highway 9 between Sibley and Ocheyedan. Kathy Raye Wills was born April 19, 1958 in Sibley, Iowa to Russell and Helen (DeBerg) Wills. She came to this world along with her twin sister, Karen. Kathy grew up in Sibley with her two sisters and two brothers and graduated from Sibley High School with the class of 1976. Kathy had a son, a daughter and 3 grandchildren whom she loved fiercely. She lived at times in Minnesota and Montana before returning to the Sibley area in 1993. Here she worked at various jobs for several different companies over the years. Kathy had a great fondness for her dog companions (anyone’s dog really) and enjoyed a good camping trip. Kathy died at the age of 63 on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Per her wishes, she generously donated her organs before being cremated. Kathy is survived by her son, Joshua Wills (Melissa Potter); daughter Lesley Trapp (Rosendo Martinez); two grandchildren, Isabella Osborn and Kellen Cychosz; two sisters, Sue (Jamie) Gorecki, and lifelong companion Karen Bosma; two brothers Randy (Lisa) Wills and Kevin (Kim) Wills; nieces Kayla and Katie, nephew Kody and many extended family members. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Wills and Helen Holtrop; her grandson Tyler Wills; and brother-in-law Tony Bosma.
