Kay Klingenberg

   Kayleen Klingenberg age 54 of George, IA died Sunday, April 28, 2019 St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.

   Memorial service will be 10:30 AM Friday, May 3^rd at Zoar Presbyterian Church of rural George, IA with Rev. Dale Lint officiating. Inurnment will follow at the church cemetery.

   The visitation will be Thursday, May 2^nd from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jurrens Funeral Home of George.

     Kayleen Sue Klingenberg was born October 31, 1964 in Faulkton, South Dakota, the daughter of Harley and Margaret (McBride) Stanley.  She grew up in Cresbard, South Dakota and graduated from Cresbard High School in 1982.  After high school Kay attended Stewarts School of Hairstyling and was a beautician until 2004. 

     Kay was united in marriage to Willys Klingenberg on September 25, 2004 in Cresbard, South Dakota.  They made their home on a farm near George, Iowa. 

     Kay had worked as an ROI Technician for Sanford in Luverne, Minnesota since 2006.  She was a member of the Zoar Presbyterian Church, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.  She enjoyed riding motorcycle, cooking, canning, gardening, and crocheting.  She also enjoyed her and Willys’ annual Nascar trip.

     Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 14 years, Willys Klingenberg; father Harley Stanley of Cresbard, SD; brother Mike (Dee) Stanley of Onida, SD; mother-in-law Arlis Klingenberg of George, IA; brothers-in-law Denny (Elaine) Klingenberg of Sioux Falls, SD, Marlin (Eva) Klingenberg of George, IA; sisters-in-law Karen (Troy) De Boer of Adrian, MN, Audrey (Tom) Stine of Adel, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Stanley; father-in-law Willys Klingenberg; brother-in-law Clarence Marra; and sister-in-law Carol Marra.
