     Kevin Niebruegge 56 of George, IA died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Good Samaritan Society in George, IA.

     Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Hope Reformed Church in George, IA with Rev. Steve De Haan, officiating.

     Prayer service for family and friends will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Hope Reformed Church at George, IA.  Interment will follow the prayer service in the Hope Reformed Church Cemetery at George, IA.

     Visitation will be Wednesday, June 20th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Hope Reformed Church at George.

     Kevin G. Niebruegge was born December 29, 1961 at the Rock Rapids Hospital in Rock Rapids, IA the son of Bob and Mavis (Goldhorn) Niebruegge.  Kevin started schooling in George and later transferred to Hope Haven.  His junior and senior years, he attended Sioux Center High School, graduating in 1980.  He continued his education at Northwest Iowa Technical College in Sheldon, IA.  While in school, he worked at Warntjes Chevrolet Garage in George, IA.  After NITC he worked at Sudenga Industries.  When the work slowed down, he worked at Sepco Produce for 15 years.  Because of health problems, he had to quit that job.  He worked at S&R in Rock Rapids until they closed.  He then started at Sudenga Industries until his kidneys failed and he had to go on dialysis.  In July of 2011, Kevin received his new kidney.  Kevin enjoyed going to the races.  He also enjoyed the company of his companion, Rocko, and talked about him every chance he could.  He was also very proud of his niece and great niece.  Since July of 2017, He spent a lot of time in the hospital and nursing home in George.  Kevin died this past Sunday evening, June 17, 2018 at the age of fifty-six.

     He is survived by his mother, Mavis Niebruegge of George, IA; his father, Bob Niebruegge of Windom, MN; sister, Colette (Greg) Smith of Windom, MN; niece, Harlie (fiancé, Dan Fashing) and great niece, Brylie; his, uncle, Ronald (Marie) Niebruegge of Spirit Lake, IA; aunt, Arlys Krull of George, IA; special friend of Mavis, Leo Voss of Fulda, MN; along with many cousins.

     Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eilert and Anna Goldhorn, and paternal grandparents, Robert and Anna Niebruegge; aunt, Leota (Lewis) Treinen; uncle, Kenneth Krull; cousin, Rodney Krull and a 2^nd cousin, Benjamin Deiphuis.
