Kyle Anden Dreke was born November 23, 1985, in Omaha, Nebraska to Bob and Barb (Balster) Dreke. He joined his older brother, Travis. He attended school at Central Lyon in Rock Rapids, Iowa and graduated with the class of 2004. Kyle joined the Air Force immediately after graduation. On July 30, 2005, he married Megan Van Beek. They were blessed with two boys, Christian and Trace in 2006 and 2008. Kyle started his military career at Ellsworth AFB, SD in the command post. In 2009, the family moved to Travis AFB, CA. Kyle fulfilled his lifelong dream of being in the skies as a flight engineer on the C-5 Galaxy. In 2018, the family moved to Tuttle, OK, where he worked in a small detachment. MSgt Dreke was currently serving as a Combat Flight Inspection Mission Specialist with Detachment 1, of the 375th Operations Group. Kyle never met a stranger, this was a trait that made him late more often than not. He was always willing to help anyone in need. His loyalty to his family and friends was unmatched. With his witty sense of humor, he always had a comeback comment for any situation and was front and center and ready for shenanigans. He loved working on anything with a motor. His wife never knew when the next “fix-it” vehicle would show up at the house due the “great deal” he got. One of his favorite pastimes was riding his Harley with his friends and family. His pride and joy were his family. He loved taking his boys dirt bike riding, hunting and fishing. Coaching and watching his boys wrestle always brought a smile to his face, well, maybe sometimes. He was one of a kind and will be fiercely missed by all. Kyle is survived by his wife, Megan and sons, Christian and Trace. Parents, Bob and Barb Dreke. Brother, Travis Dreke (Tara Lyle). In-laws, Paul and Dawn Van Beek. Brother-in-law, Brady Van Beek. Nieces, Kalli, Elise and Paisley. Nephews, Shawn and Taysom. Grandparents, Albert and Gloria Van Beek.
