Leonard W. Kramer

     Leonard Kramer age 91 of Inwood, IA died Friday, May13, 2022, at the Fellowship Village Nursing Home at Inwood, IA.

     Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 with Fr. Sunny Dominic officiating at the Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids, Iowa. 

     Full Military Rites will be presented by the Van Anne-Fields VFW Post #6960 & the Rex Strait American Legion Post #103.

     Leonard William Kramer was born on April 13, 1931 at Larchwood, Iowa to parents William and Clara (Bruggeman) Kramer.  He attended school at the St. Mary’s Catholic School in Larchwood and later served in the United States Air Force for four years. He was united in marriage to Sharon Irwin on April 15, 1976.  The couple moved to California in 1984 and stayed until their return to Rock Rapids in 1997. Leonard was a mechanic for many years in Hills, MN for the John Deere Dealership.  He also worked on machinery while in California.  His favorite hobby was fishing.

     Mr. Kramer is survived by his daughters Tonia Milton of Bogart, Georgia and Machelle Bothwell of Sioux Falls, SD; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother Ron (Arla) of Larchwood, IA; sister Mary Hartman of Battle Creek, IA; sister-in law Betty Kramer of Rock Rapids and numerous nieces and nephews. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon; son Jerry Lee; 5 brothers Virgil, Wilbur, Luverne, Marvin, and Melvin; 2 sisters Bernadette Bauer and Leota Rollag.
