Maria De Los Angeles Denis Martinez

     Maria “Mary” Denis Martinez age 40 of Little Rock, IA died suddenly on Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Osceola Regional Medical Center in Sibley, IA.

     Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Worthington, MN, with Father Jim Callahan as celebrant. There will be a viewing at the church from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m.

     Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Little Rock, IA.

    Visitation will be Friday, April 30^th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center in Little Rock, IA.

     Maria De los Angeles Denis Martinez was born on March 27, 1981 in Tecalitlan Jalisco, Mexico, the daughter of Jose De Jesus Denis Montejano and Maria De Jesus Martinez Cisneros. She grew up and received her education in Tecalitlan Jalisco, Mexico.

     Mary’s hobbies included cooking, gardening (caring for her plants), shopping with her family, and having family over to her house. She was a person that was always caring for others.

     Mary is survived by her husband, Jose Ulices Macias Ortiz of Little Rock, IA; three boys, Erik Leonardo Macias Denis, Martin Alonzo Macias Denis, and Ulices Macias Denis all of Little Rock, IA; her parents, Jose De Jesus Denis Montejano and Maria De Jesus Martinez Cisneros of Tecalitlan Jalisco Mexico; four siblings, Ramon Denis Martinez, Jose G. Denis Martinez, Carmen Denis Martinez and Rosa Denis Martinez; and nieces, nephews and other extended family.

     She was preceded in death by four siblings, Josefina Denis Martinez, Silvia Denis Martinez, Jesus Denis Martinez and Jose Denis Martinez.
