   Mary Jean Krogman age 90 of Sibley, IA died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley.

     Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Friday, August 30^th at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Sibley, IA, with Fr. Siby Punnoose as celebrant.

     Burial will follow at St. Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery in Sibley.

     Visitation will be Thursday, August 29^th from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, with family present from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley, with Vigil at 5:00 PM and Rosary to follow.

     Mary Jean Krogman was born on August 26, 1929 on a farm north of Sibley, IA, to Theodore and Regina (Wallrich) Voss. Mary Jean was married to Dale Krogman on January 11, 1949 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ashton, IA. They farmed near Sibley, IA and to this union nine children were born, David, Donald, Jane, Jarold, Harold, Joyce, Doris, John, and Dale. Mary Jean was a homemaker and helped at different times on the farm.

     Mary Jean is survived by nine children: David (Sherlene) Krogman of George, IA, Donald (Rebecca) Krogman of Sibley, IA, Jane Krogman of Sibley, IA, Jarold (Donna) Krogman of Spencer, IA, Harold (Sue) Krogman of Sibley, IA, Joyce (Craig) Julius of Bigelow, MN, Doris (Dennis) Hoffman of Sibley, IA, John (Melanie) Krogman of San Diego, CA and Dale (Kristin) Krogman of Victoria, MN; nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters, Rita Lange of Cedar Rapids, IA, Marjorie (Burdette) Caster of Machesney, IL, Donna Voss of Ashton, IA, Henry Voss of Yankton, SD, Ted Voss of Sioux Falls, SD and James (Tracy) Voss of Mason City, IA; sister-in-law Shirley Krogman of Hospers, IA; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale on December 27, 2009; granddaughter, Lora Krogman; her parents, Theodore and Regina Voss; stepmom, Clara Voss; sister, Elizabeth in infancy; brothers-in-law, Dennis Krogman and Edward Lange; and sisters-in-law, Shari and Donna Voss.
