     Robert De Noble age 75 of Hills, MN died Friday, June 12, 2020 at Home near Hills.

     Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Bethel Reformed Church in Lester, IA with Pastor Steve Meester officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery in Lester.

     Visitation will be Tuesday June 16th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM with the family present at the Bethel Reformed Church of Lester.

     Robert Lee De Noble was born June 23, 1944 in Rock Rapids, IA to Cornelius and Henrietta (Korenberg) De Noble. He was raised on a farm near Lester and attended school through the 8th grade in Lester, IA. On December 18, 1964 he was united in marriage to Karen Kooi in the Reformed Church in Lebanon, IA. After a short time of being married they moved to their current farm near Hills, MN. They raised their family on that same farm and lived there for their entire married life. Robert was a farmer and in his later years loved to go for rides in the country to look at the crops. He attended the Bethel Reformed Church for his entire life. He enjoyed farming, fishing, mowing the yard, watching old time tv shows and westerns and listening to gospel hymns. He also liked to play cards and checkers with his kids and grandkids. His favorite place to be was home with his family.

 

     Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen De Noble; sons Darrell De Noble of Hills, MN, David De Noble of Rock Rapids, IA, Brian (Kristi) De Noble of Hills, MN; and daughter, Brenda (Kevin) Auch, Freeman, SD; grandkids, Austin and Andrew De Noble and Kaylee, Paige, and Tannen Auch; sisters, Lyda (Harold) Timmerman of Rock Rapids, IA and Betty Kooima of Rock Valley, IA; brothers, Marlin (Judy) De Noble of Hills, MN and Dwight (Alvina) De Noble of Larchwood, IA; sister, Cheryl (Darrell) Hoekstra of Alton, IA; sisters-in-law, Grada Raak of Milford, IA, Bertha (Duane) Vos of Sioux Falls, SD and Renzella Kempema of Sioux Falls, SD; nieces, nephews and other family members.

 

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Henrietta De Noble; infant brother, Conrad De Noble; parents-in-law, Ellis and Christine Kooi; brothers-in-law, Rich Kempema and Cliff Raak.
