     Roger K. Christians age 58 of Lennox, SD formerly of George, IA died Monday, June 15, 2020, at Sioux Falls, SD from injuries sustained in a car accident.

     Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.

     Roger Kriene Christians was born August 9, 1961, in Rock Rapids, Iowa the son of Delmar and Hilda (Kramer) Christians.  Roger grew up in the Little Rock and George area, and later moved to Syracuse, NY, where Roger graduated in 1981 from Cicero High School.  In 2015, Roger moved to Lennox, SD.  He attended the First English Lutheran Church in Lennox.  Roger was a private individual, but always enjoyed the family gatherings.  He had his famous five, as he would always say, in the NFL, but he was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, his highlight was when they won the super bowl in 2018.  He also made trips over the holidays to visit his siblings out east and join them on special occasions.

     Roger kept himself busy and attended the parks and rec in Sioux Falls where would enjoy swimming every day.  He had a passion for animals, and on occasion he said he bought peanuts for the squirrels, where he lived.

     He is survived by his siblings: Fred (Kathy) Christians of Rock Rapids, IA; Gracie (Carl) Depo of Louisburg, NC; Herman (Linda) Christians of George, IA; Pearl Schiebler (Earl Daley) of North Syracuse, NY; Jason (Connie) Christians of George, IA; Heidi Hess of Mason City, IA; sister-in-law, Kathy (Mike) LeTendre of Slayton, MN; along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmer and Hilda; three siblings, Ethel, Ted and Chad.
