     Susan Boneschans, age 72 of Sheldon, Iowa died Friday, March 27, 2020 at Sanford Sheldon Care Center, Sheldon, Iowa.

     Due to the mandated health care precautions, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

     Condolences to the family can be offered on the Jurrens Funeral Home website.

     Susan “Susie” Boneschans was born September 20, 1947 to Ken and Darlene (Higgins) Hansen in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was raised in Sibley, Iowa and attended Sibley Public School graduating in 1966.       Susie was united in marriage to Leonard Boneschans on April 7, 1984 at the United Methodist Church in Sibley. They made their home in Sheldon, Iowa for 36 years. In the past Susie was a CNA at the Sibley Hospital, worked at the Sanford Health Care Nursing Home for 38 years, and Village Northwest for 17 years.   She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sibley. She enjoyed reading, cooking, word finds, watching TV, and really enjoyed her travels.
     Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 36 years, Leonard Boneschans; two brothers, Dave (Linda) Hansen of New Ulm, MN and Jeff (Arla) Hansen of Sioux Falls, SD; brother-in-law, Henry “Gerald” (Joan) Boneschans of Sibley, IA; eight nieces; and other extended family and friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents Ken and Darlene Hansen.
