Terry Nachtigal age 62, of Little Rock, IA died Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley, IA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Sibley, IA with Msgr. Ken Seifried, as celebrant.
Burial will follow the lunch in the Pleasant View Cemetery at Little Rock, IA.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. with the family present at the Jurrens Funeral Home in Sibley.
Terry Duane Nachtigal was born on April 21, 1960, in Rock Rapids, IA, the son of Duane and Carol (Boekhout) Nachtigal. He grew up in Little Rock, IA and later graduated from Little Rock High School in 1979.
On August 3, 1985, he was united in marriage to Pamela Fox at the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Sibley, IA. The couple made their home in Little Rock, and to this union three children were born Lacey, David, and Anthony.
Terry worked various places throughout his life such as, AMPI in Sibley, Peters Lumber in Little Rock and most recently DEMCO Manufacturing in Boyden, IA. He was a member of the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Sibley. Terry loved racing, spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed Friday night garage gatherings, working with his hands on special projects and camping. Pickles loved to be the life of the party. There was never a dull moment when he was around, he enjoyed making people laugh and never wanted to see anyone sad. He will be greatly missed.
Terry is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Pamela Nachtigal of Little Rock, IA; two children, Lacey Nachtigal of Melvin, IA and David Nachtigal of Waterloo, IA; his mother, Carol Nachtigal of Little Rock, IA; six grandchildren; one sister, Vicki (Dave) Julius of Little Rock, IA; and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Nachtigal; father, Duane Nachtigal; paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Fanny Nachtigal ; and maternal grandparents, Hank and Jo Boekhout.
