Sibley, IA
Tyler Wills age 19 of Sioux Falls, SD died suddenly on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Sibley, IA, with Reverend Doug Noonkester, officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Tyler James Wills was born on April 21, 2001 in Sibley, IA, the son of Josh Wills and Michelle Ver Meer. He grew up in Sibley and later moved and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls, SD in 2020. Tyler worked several different jobs such as Burger King, McDonald’s and most recently Godfather’s Pizza.
Tyler enjoyed playing Xbox, watching the San Francisco 49ers, Yu-Gi-Oh cards and Pokeman cards.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Michelle (special friend, Wayne Hayden) Ver Meer of Sioux Falls, SD and Josh (special friend, Melissa Potter) of Sibley, IA; siblings: Hailey Vahlsing, Kaitlynn Vahlsing, Jeramyah Vahlsing, Abigail Ronke, Katelyn Hayden, Bryce Hayden, Marcus Hayden, Ethan Hayden all of Sioux Falls, SD; and Zackary Vahlsing of Estherville, IA; maternal grandmother, Lisa Ver Meer of Little Rock, IA; paternal grandmother, Kathy Wills of Sibley, IA; nephew, Sebastian Vahlsing of Sioux Falls, SD; and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Walter Ver Meer; paternal great grandfather and grandmother, Russell and Helen Wills; and maternal, great-grandfather, Jack Gable.
