Kenneth & Marilyn Lohberger

 Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Kenneth & Marilyn Lohberger at 10a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Saint Andrew's Catholic Church, 708 8th St. Sibley, IA 51249, with Father Siby Punnoose as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery in Sibley, IA.

   Ken Lohberger and Marilyn Reiners were born and raised just 38 miles apart on their family farms in northwest Iowa. After graduating from high school, they both went on to technical school in Sheldon, Iowa, where they met and fell in love. In 1974 they were married, became the Lohberger’s, and moved to Minnesota. In 1977, Ken and Marilyn were blessed with their son, Lance, who was born in Bloomington, Minnesota. Ken had a love of cars and Marilyn enjoyed crafting. As a family, they enjoyed antiquing and taking trips to the North Shore together, and they especially liked visiting the Grand Marais area. Although they were separated by death, they have been reunited once again.
     Ken was preceded in death by his father, Michael Joseph Lohberger. He is survived by his son, Lance (Jamie) Lohberger; mother, Rosalind Catherine Lohberger🦋; siblings, Mary (Art🦋) Meyers, Charlene Christian, Dean Lohberger, John Lohberger; wife, Marilyn Rae Lohberger🦋; and many friends.
     Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth John Lohberger; father, Lowell Frank Reiners, mother, Bernice Mae Reiners. She is survived by her son, Lance (Jamie) Lohberger; siblings, David (Carol Pomerenke) Reiners, Larry (Kris) Reiners, and Janet (Steve) Appel; and many friends.
