     Steven Alan Drake age 68, of Rock Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Avera Merrill Pioneer Hospital in Rock Rapids, Iowa, with his loved ones by his side.

     Steven Alan Drake was born on April 26, 1954 in La Junta, Colorado, the son of Harvey and Paula (Hollandsworth) Drake. Steven enjoyed traveling and exploring new places on his Harley Davidson. He often said he loved gypsy traveling. He lived in Henderson, NV from 2012 -2014, with his wife Carmen, who preceded him in death. From 2015 – 2021 he held residence in Pahrump, NV, and Rock Rapids, IA. Upon meeting his current wife, Denice, he held permanent residence at Rock Rapids, IA from 2021 until his death.

     He is survived by his wife, Denice; four children, Cassidy (Jeff) Matson of Rock Rapids, IA; Isaiah (C.J.) Drake of Vernal UT; Shilo Bo Clarice of Rock Rapids, IA; Joshua B.  Burnickas of Illinois; four grandchildren, Dakota (Megan) Acevedo, Brooke Matson, Raistlin Drake and Mikyah Drake; five great-grandchildren, Journey, Chesney, Jameson, Oaklyn and Jaxston Acevedo.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Paula Drake; and his wife, Carmen Drake.
