Tony Schneiderman age 79 of George, Iowa died Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington, MN.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Thursday, March 17, 2022, at First Baptist Church near George, Iowa with Reverend Jesse Sternke, officiating. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with the family present from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home of George.

Tony Schneiderman was born October 25, 1942, in George, Iowa, the son of Helmer and Gertrude (Wagenaar) Schneiderman. He grew up at the family farm near George and attended country school. A lifelong farmer, Tony loved the many aspects of agribusiness from the planting and harvesting, the caring of livestock, and the friendships of others in the business. He loved the outdoors aspect of farming and would remark “What could be a better life!”

Tony’s faith was very important to him, and he loved sharing it with others. He attended First Baptist Church of George for many years. He enjoyed time spent with his nieces and nephews.

 Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Harold (JoAnn) Schneiderman of Magnolia, MN, Richard (Judy) Schneiderman of Magnolia, MN, JoAnne McKim of Savage, MN, Glenda (Art) Lorenz of Albuquerque, NM, Judy Schneiderman of Sioux City, IA; brother-in-law, Donald Fick of Sioux Falls, SD; sister-in-law, Gwen Schneiderman of Meridian, ID; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Helmer and Gertrude; sister, Hilda Fick; brother, Kriene Schneiderman; brother-in-law, Dana McKim; and niece, Jolene Schneiderman.
